Metal Seals

The applications for metal seals run the industrial spectrum, including aerospace, oil/gas generation, and the military, among others. What all of these industries have in common are the presence of extreme environments and situations in which the seals will be put to the test. There are six main categories of metal seal offered by Parker: c-seal, e-seal, o-ring, u-ring, wire ring, and spring energized ring. These categories each have their own strengths and weaknesses, with varying degrees of springback, load capabilities, leak rates, pressure capabilities, and cost.
